Day 1: Arrive in Hong Kong.
Day 2: Fly to Shanghai. Travel by Maglev train into the city.

Day 5: Travel by bullet train to Tunxi and transfer to Huangshan (Mt Huang). Take the cable car up to the summit of Mt Huang. (Click for more information on Huangshan)
Day 6: Spend the day enjoying the beauty of the Jade Holds Scenic Area.
Day 7: Spend the day amongst the spectacular scenery of the Cloud Valley Scenic Area.
Day 8: Take some more time to explore Mt Huang, before taking the cable car back down the mountain and transferring back to Tunxi.
Day 9: Take a day tour from Tunxi to Hongcun, an ancient town full of traditional architecture and an old way of life.
Day 10: Transfer to Hangzhou airport and fly to the Nine Villages Valley.
Day 11: Explore the Jiuzhaigou, with visits including Long Lake, Five Coloured Lake, Nuoriland Falls and a Tibetan Temple. (Click for more information on Jiuzhaigou)
Day 12: Visit a Jiuzhaigou Tibetan village, where you’ll visit a local family to learn about their traditional way of life and taste some Tibetan butter tea. Continue exploring on foot, wandering around the striking blue lakes of the valley.
Day 13: Transfer to Huanglong Park and spend the night in Chuanzhusi Town.Marvel at the hundreds of vivid, mineral deposit formed pools that tumble gently down the valley. (Click for more on Huanglong)
Day 14: Transfer to the airport and fly to Xian. Visit the fascinating Hanyangling Mausoleum. (Click for more on Xian)
Day 15: See the magnificent Terracotta Warriors this morning before visiting the sights of the city this afternoon, including the Little Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 16: Walk around Xian’s old city walls and the bustling, vibrant streets of the Muslim Quarter.
Day 17: Transfer to the airport and fly to Zhangjiajie.
Day 18: Explore this breathtaking area, taking cable cars or the Bailong Elevator up into the heights, taking a mountain walk or trying out the glass-bottomed Skywalk. Also take a boat ride over Baofeng Lake. (Click for more on Zhangjiajie)
Day 19: Discover the Avatar-esque scenery of the first national forest park. Visit Huangshi village by cable car.
Day 20: Take the bus to Zhangjiajie. Ride the cable car up Mt Tianmen and explore the eponymous cave.
Day 21: Marvel at the Zhangjiajie’s Grand Canyon – spend the day immersed in the sounds of bird song, rushing water and monkeys at play.
Day 22: Transfer to the airport and fly to Kunming.
Day 23: Spend the morning browsing the Flower and Bird Market, and walking around Green Lake Park. The rest of the day is free to spend as you like. (Click for more on Kunming)
Day 24: Take a full day guided trip to the Western Hills.
Day 25: Transfer to Jianshui, one of the most historic and cultural towns in the whole country. Visit a Confucian temple and a tofu workshop.
Day 26: Explore the enormous Swallows Cavern and the Twin Dragon Bridge.
Day 27: Visit the Zhang garden. Travel by road to Yuanyang to meet the Hani Minority people – discover the town and local market which you’ll find is real, authentic China.
Day 28: If you feel like rising early, get up for sunrise over the rice terraces. You’ll then spend some time visiting this farming phenomenon, locally known as ‘Land Sculpture’. Spend some time hiking and visiting local villages. (Click here for more information on Yuanyang)
Day 29: Today is at leisure in Yuanyang.
Day 30: Spend some more time exploring before transferring back to Kunming.
Day 31: Enjoy a day of leisure in Kunming.
Day 32: Transfer to the airport and fly to Hong Kong.
Day 33: Fly home from Hong Kong.
